E.P. Carrillo Cigars is owned by Ernesto Perez-Carrillo and his two children, Lissette and Ernesto III. Ernesto has been in the cigar industry for 50 years as of 2020. He is a 3rd generation cigar blender who is in the Hall of Fame of cigars. I smoked my first EPC cigar, a Pledge Prequel, a few weeks ago. OH. MY. GOODNESS. Talk about complexity, luscious flavor transitions, and superb construction! It definitely won't be my last. I'm looking forward to trying the Encore Majestic that's been patiently waiting in my humidor for a number of months. Cheers!

I only smoke 3-4 cigars per week in the weekend. I can really look forward to it. It's a whole experience for me to choose a cigar for the evening and smell it many times before finally cutting it, toasting it and tasting the first complex but delicious flavours. I hope to one day try your cigars!

@@EPCarrilloCigars Several brands, and types. I tend to enjoy the more full body robusta ones. It also depends what the local stores have available. Unfortunately they don't have your brand and online ordering in The Netherlands is forbidden. I just got intrigued with your cigars by watching many of your videos. I love the videos for being informative and I like the company's story and being a family company.

Depends on the capacity of the humidor. Many humidors specify the amount of cigars held 🙏

Pledge and Allegiance are my two favorite Carrillo cigars. Encore and La Historia are close seconds. My question is this. Does the shape change the flavor in any way? I prefer rolled over a box pressed cigar. Just curious why they come as box pressed rather than rolled. Keep up the great work! E.P. Carrillo is top one or two makers in my opinion.
The shape does change the flavor. Box pressed in our case is still rolled. The rolled cigar is placed in a mold to get that box pressed shape. Box-pressed premium cigars are initially rolled in the traditional manner before undergoing the box-pressing process 💪

Yeah I think drinking very good scotch or flavorful liquor can take away from the flavor of the cigar. Just my 2 cents I think these 2 things should be done separately. Especially knowing how expensive Scotch can be.
